Had sled down in CNP over the weekend , not much snow at the cabins we rented, but anyway, the pos only reved to 8000 on the trails. As soon as I would try to play through some trees....blahh...full throttle and barely moving . Seems real muffled, like something is blocking the exhaust. Checked the can for brocken baffles but heard nothing inside once can was off.Need a good mechanic around Calgary to take a look at it. Anybody know one. I don't want to take it to the local dealers because I did not buy it there and would like to get it back in a week or two.

Did you check your clickers on your primary? If they were set too aggressive, you would not be pulling the right rpm. Just a thought.

There are baffles in the pipe as well as the can. What did you set your clutch at and you didn't touch the little red knob to warm the carb right?

No little red knob touchy, didn't touch the clutch either, maybe the problem. But did work fine on the trail at silent and up to the lake but higher than that it was a problem two weeks ago as well.(had broken plug wire that weekend and thought that was problem then, just a coincidense i guess)

The 07's were famous for that Doo may give you warranty even if sled is off warranty.I would ask dealer if I were you. They gave me and a bunch of buddies 08 motors for free! over !!Good luck.If you haven't done it yet get rid of the plastic cover over the clutch and add vent kit or at least some slp screens.Once the quirks are out theses sleds work pretty good.:beer::beer:

i had the same problem with my 98 rmk 600 last year. when i hit powder itd bog but on hard pack it went good. something to look into is in ur primary where the little fingers (not sure what there really called) that flip out. mine the bushings were gone so they twisted sideways and rubbed on the clutch body causing sticking and in turn bogging.

I guarantee you your primary is toast, doo is notorious for this. Pull your primary off and take apart and I guarantee the bushings are shot as well as the o rings. Go to dootalk.com it is all skidoo, the place to be if u have a doo, check it out
