I ride both, have been for years and Whistler trumps Revy 10x over. Not even in the same league. There are so many unadvertise, if that's the word for it in the Whistler/Pemberton zones that have insane riding.
NO, not mash potatoes, the season extends atleast one month longer then Revy with great snow, the biggest problem is accessibility to the snow, unlike interior mountains the coastal back roads tend to fallow valley bottoms for miles and miles, the terrain is too steep for roads. So once the snow melts from the bottom you cannot access the top.
Most people think of Whistler area with the common zones, Brandywine, Rutherford and even Blacktusk and never seen anything else. That would be like riding Boulder and Frisby only with occasional side trip to Sicamous LOL.
Yeah I'm going to hit the main area first.
I didn't go to zipper mouth my first trip to Revy and I dont think it should be that way. It took me 25years to explore the interior, and gives me a new reason to ride.
It could take me 25years to see the coastal range and that is exciting to me

Thats the best way to learn that area. Start with the common zones first, get to know some of the local riders and go from there.
Also check out Mtn Currie area, its a great area to the that zone (Icefields).

vieWs 606... weaTher and parking has been expanded aT keysToned for cariboo opening apriL 16 going forward i believe parking is aT km 6,7,8,9, 10 but hey there s also a new parking area 1/2 km before the main Lot OF KeYsToned which is also jusT oFF the highway and thats also where the new entrance is .. so now there are 2 entrances just powwow the trail it leeds to the goat trail ... wooT !! wooT !! 2and 4 place a liKe decks ta the toP please drive tiLL ya hiT the snow on the forestry roads ... loTs of turn ouTs even for 4 place trailers .. TiME and paTience is on youR SiDE .. first iNN the hole is boss ..
