Phone a couple more dealers today said they had one and an hr latter nope BRP took them away. Even talked to my buddy today that owns the grassland dealership they pulled his Mach Z he had ordered not sure what's going on maybe Maxwell will know. Kind of mad right now will see if my turbo Khaos still comes in I snow checked

At least Polaris told buyers/dealers up front how many sleds they had to sell.

Pretty sleezy on Doo's part. Remember all the, Polaris "limited release" jabs a few months back, Maxwell I think you have some crow to eat here...

Hopefully they'll do a little more than give you you're money back. An extra grand off a '23 for starters.

Just to clarify, all customers that snow checked their machines before the april1st deadline will receive their snow check. Nothing to worry about there

So no crow to eat for me.

The last 2 seasons due to Covid BRP has allowed dealers to bring in extra units with ONE year warranty. With the high spring check sales volume some of these extra units likely had to be cut due to manufacturing capacity.

I’m not sure what your dealer told you but these units are not always a guarantee how many the dealer will receive.

This is more of a question for Dave but this is my best knowledge and I am assuming got-boost likely ordered his machine after snow check deadline.

That’s too bad though gotboost hopefully get ya on one next season and if one comes up I’ll let ya know. They are worth it

Weird...how does a manufacturer sell a sled that they don't have? Asking for a friend..... Anyway, doesn't less production mean they are far more valuable next year right? Massive profits being the driver for stock price being almost double what it was?....it never got past $70 in the 5 years previous....Less of something means raising that price right?

Will their sponsored riders......oops my bad .....Ambassadors.....be giving up their 2022 sleds if there is a production capacity shortage, so BRP can honour committments to customers? We'll see how many step up and give their sled back to the dealer to sell. That seems like the right thing to do for a brand loyal, PAYING consumer.

I think you misread my post. BRP will be honouring all their snow check commitments to customers. No ambassadors will be harmed in the making of 2022 skidoo turbos lol. BRP offered the dealers the option to bring in EXTRA machines with no snow check incentives (2 year additional warranty) these extra machines have no names on them they are not sold to a customer they are the dealers just like in season stuff . Since the snowmobile in question was not a snow check it would have been a decision made by that particular dealer to take a deposit on a snowmobile they did not physically have or have proof that they would get it. In the past maybe they were confident they would get all the extra machines they ordered but with Covid these things can happen. IMO if I were a dealer I would just take a list of names and when the sleds land I would go down the list when they arrive rather than selling a promise to a machine that may not exist. But I don’t own a dealership I’m just a broke surveyor so that’s easy for me to say.

Oh okay, so because the dealers were promised sleds that in turn were sold to customers it's alright. Nothing to worry about here, customers are being called and told the sleds they have their names on or have put deposits on won't be delivered, but because the sleds are sold to the dealer first it's not an issue. You know they used to have a name for that, a type of giver that then wants those items back...

This isn't some small mistake if a single dealer is being cut 32 machines. The dealers themselves should be pissed, this hurts their bottom line too.

Your using the word promised which is where our opinions differ. As far as i know no one was promised anything. But again, would need to hear that from someone like Dave not myself. Put it this way, lots of dealers didnt have to call customers and tell them their sled wasnt coming.

I think this would be a dealer issue not an issue of BRP. The dealer should not take deposits on sleds they may not get in.

Nothing except buy the competitors product, the same as anyone can do, and that's the principle BRP operates their business on.

Yeah like I said buy an artic cat, because polaris is sold out too. I couldnt get packaged crackers the other day at the lunch stand. Shortage on those also, shortage on lots of chit right now. Thats what happens when everyone stays home and collects welfare....
