Well the 2” track made a world of difference. It works really well. She was zipping around way better then before. Still think she probably needs to go to the next level of sled.

This sled is actually starting to grow on me for her. I think a full size sled for a you girl is a handle full and might turn them off the sport if they are getting stuck and not keeping up. Let’s face it a full size sled is a handful for most adults. Lol. Anyone have one of these? Or is it just underpowered and as heavy as a full size sled.

The video makes me want to go buy one now. Lol.

Do it! It will be wicked.

I wanted one last year but couldn’t get one. Settled with an RMK Evo for my 10 year old that has really impressed me. Had originally planned to flip it after the season for the venom/blast but Gonna stick with the evo for a bit now. We have a few summer customization plans ....

Somebody rented one from sundry and wasn’t impressed... but sounded like adult riders.

Yamaha mountain venom

I want one for my wife to start into mountain riding but

are parts going to be an issue ever if cat dies?

they're 11K or so I believe

will she be bored in a year? Then you’re back to 600 talk...

I talked to a family with a Blast M and they loved it. The dad couldn’t stop telling me about it and it’s capability with his wife on it. Their Daughter on a 200 was eyeing the 400.....

I think the venom would be good as long as it’s light. If it’s close to a 600 axys in weight probably no point in get a under powered for a adult. That being said after owning a 600 rmk it’s really kind of pointless...might as well get a 800. They are easier to find.

Think kids under 15 it would be good..,till they learn the skills.

totally agree.

This is why I might bite the bullet next year and drop 13K for a new doo 600 summit X.... lifelong sled for her.... I know, I know, not a yamaha.

But I will rent the mountain Venom for her first. She's interested, and I want to promote skill building not hinder....

Tough to rent a 600 Summit anywhere though....

My local yam dealer has had 4 engines go down in the transporter line of the mid size sleds. Mechanic figures it has something to do with the intake air temp sensor being right under the pipe and leaning it out... other than what the mechanic has stated I dont have any insight on the machines. I dont personally know anyone who has one.

Yamadoo on YouTube has some videos of the mountain sled in action with his little fella on it, it seems to get around pretty well.

Well found a 16 m6000. She really excited about it. Has a jaws can and she goes out starts it up to listen. Lol. Doing a few things to it…magnet tether, lower riser, fix a few pieces of the wrap and that’s about it. Hopefully it works well for her.

You’re awesome! I’m torn with modding an older snoscoot or buying a newer 200 when my little guy sizes up in a year or two .

That will be a great sled for her. Easy to start and lots of power. Looks very clean.

Yeah it’s only got 500km on it. Like new.

We modded snosports back in the day cause there wasn’t anything else. I’d lean towards the newer stuff now for kids.

The cool factor of your sno scoot builds plus the fact it was my first sled as a kid has me wondering
