Do had the best line if you look at the lay of the drainage. Wouldn't have made a huge difference but the Axys had the worst line. POV video shows it best sitting at the bottom.

Those sleds both probably make more ground speed on the lower section than the 174 and would have hit the hill faster

I think the line choice played a factor, but wouldnt have made a difference in the result

You need to watch the video again, I went all the way up the hill pretty much straight up and the other 2 sleds went halfway, hundreds of feet difference, the alpha is impressive as it is really close to the 850 Polaris turbo but in the Polaris defense, it is in much need of a rear shock or something as it just wheelies and takes all it's momentum away, we drag raced on hardback and that Polaris did much better, probably have to admit that its faster on a long pull. Niners Alpha is far from stock and puts a whooping on a lot of sleds, super impressive for an 800, don't put money on a race unless you are prepared to loose it ha ha. These boys also have some future tricks coming that will soon put my doo in its place, I gotta take the win while I can cuz I think it will be short lived.

This is exactly right the 850 polaris was not built to climb it was built for fun and drivability, it runs around on the back wheels everywhere it goes lol. The rider ME is 60lbs heavier than both other riders that im sure makes some difference. It does not clime well at all. The alpha works extremely well you just cant beat that track and snow evacuation and its tuned really well. I have to say riding the turbo doo for the first time i really liked it does not feel like all the rest love the down hill turns. All this being said we will change some **** up for next time and post more vids, its just what we do lol.

Great video guys, thanks for the post. I would like to see a comparison of the 175 T Doo against a 165 T Doo and see what the real world difference is.

Done this already Randy and no comparison, the 165 just comes over backwards worse than mine lol.

No vid but its no comparison at all the 175 is slow but it lays flat on the snow and climbs. 175 / 174 is king in the deep and for climbing, I got on that thing and even with my extra weight it still kept flat and climbed and climbed no matter how steep. The 165 has the same outcome as my sled just flips over backward.

I would think the no warranty would apply the same, as the other two sleds in the comparison vid.

Aside from some minor clutching and suspension adjustments, the Doo is stock and shined. Those 175’s are tractors.

I would like to see 165 comparisons tho, the alpha of niners put a good mark on that hill.

You adding a longer track and suspension to yours Chrisco? I see that Dragonweld is building another new build a bit longer. Hmm mm?
