ASA Passport Contest

Good Day Everyone,

With all the "closures" and "unknowns" this year, I'm sure lots of us are looking to "Explore Alberta" a little bit more.

The ASA has introduced a "Passport" contest, where you get your "passport" stamped by the different clubs who's trails your ride then send them into the ASA for your chance at some awesome prizes (to be determined).

Here's a quote from Amanda @ The ASA Office about the program.

To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Alberta Snowmobile Association, this season we have launched a Passport Program. For every clubs trails that you ride, get a stamp.

Every Passport that is returned to the office with AT LEAST one stamp will be eligible to win some awesome prizes!

We always get a great turnout at our rally at Alberta Beach but yes! could be a record year

Gonna be tough to have any rallies this year....most halls are closed or at minimal numbers....
Hope that by the new year, that will change

It will be a challenge, but lots of clubs are up for it.

I can say for sure that as of right now:

Alberta Beach Snowmobile Club (Sno Mo Days), Saturday February 13, 2021.
ASA 50th Anniversary Jamboree - Swan Hills - Saturday, February 20, 2021 (pre-register here: )

Not to mention I hear insuring the events is a killer!

Why would insurance be expensive or is mostly for the landowners?

I would think a lot of insurance companies are upping their rates to protect the clubs in case of an outbreak scenario.

Yup.... The title is a little misleading. It's not really about a "Snowmobile Trail Pass" it's more about the recreational use of crown land - all users.
