Guy is a 2 time loser. Its actually a 1990 model. I had one. Its a fast sled though. But very out dated

I had one of those. Convoluted suspention. The ZX chassis after these would be a way better choice.

They got better every generation. It was a great lake racer though. Beat on some bigger cc Cats back in the day with it. Lots of beer drinking money. Lol

Like everyone, l had bolt on plastic paddles. In cold weather the rear shock would freeze holding the suspension fully collapsed. Sometimes it took three guys pissing on it to get it to release lol. It would sidehill for days though. One time l yard saled it down the side of a mountain. Carbs were on the running board hanging by the cables, parts all down the hill. Rode it out. Ah the memories.

We used to pull into the parking lot at Quartz Creek after a big dump with our Mach-tons. Spend 2 days breaking trail to the alpine with the A&E boys. Then one time this trapper shows up on a Tundra Long Track and asks us if we are trying to get to the alpine? We said yes. He told us to follow him and the guy broke trail all the way in by himself for all the high HP , high weight muscle sleds. I think Dave and his group all chipped in and bought a Tundra to put on the trailer after that. Just for conditions like that. HaHa!

Haha I've heard similar stories. Buck Lake Bob liked to tell tales of put-putting around all the stuck big iron on his SWT Skandik. Up to his neck he said

I can see some peaple paying that amount for a classic , Because I'm buying a 1696 phazer mountain light for $2000 for riding around home because my T3 would get destroyed down Here. I know the owner real well and the sled makes a new sled look dirtty, that's how well he take's care of his toys.

I had the '89 version. was my first "mountain" sled lol. on the hardpack they went like stink. Price is kinda out there for sure, but it's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it.

My kid just bought one of my old sleds we found online, I bought it brand new in December of 2000, sno check edition 2001 MXZ 800X. Probably paid too much for it according to market value, but the sentimental value was worth more to him. The guy was the third owner, bought it from the guy I sold it to. Did a nice job fixing up the chassis, swapped out the old engine for a brand new Series 3 HO 800. I can't wait to take it for a spin lol.

Try looking for an ice fishing sled like a tundra. Mid 90’s tundra seat rotted off no windshield $2000.

the Dealership took 2 older Tundra's in on trade last week and had over 60 calls and emails on it in 24 hours. Weren't mint but ran good. Got $1500 per sled for them

Buddy at work had 3 kick around sleds he used for trapping two tundras and an Indy lite newest machine was a 98 he also averaged $2000 per machine sold them all early October within a week couldn’t give them away years prior. Anything to do within your own backyard this year has been huge demand though. Golf, RVs, atv all had unreal summers.

for sure. I had bought a leftover '99 HO 670 MXZ the year before and it made it 370 km before meeting it's demise on a rock lip in Tumbler Ridge. was a long wait for that '01.
