looking for a decent mid size kids sled. 300-400cc would prefer fan cooled and according to the boy e-start is a must.

if anyone has anything they're looking to get rid of let me know.

TIA

I'm quite sure they are the ugliest machines I've ever owned, but I have 2 300cc Freestyles. One I bought for market price, the other I ran into a deal I couldn't pass up (I never intended to own 2!). I thought these would be boring little machines that I could suffer riding while taking the kids out on their 120's and 200's. i was actually wrong. One of them has a 1.6" Cobra track on it and you'd be amazed at what the thing will chug through. I've done a bit of clutching and gearing to it and while 48mph isn't going to win any drag races, it will pull the skis for 20ft on takeoff with my 200lbs on it. It is possibly the funnest machine I own. I can put one of my little guys in front of me and cut donuts all day long with the thing. I actually pull a 5ft drag through the yard with the Freestyle to make trails for the little fellers without issue. My chainsaw sounds tougher though....

If you had the chance, I would not hesitate to find one of these, or better yet, a Tundra in a 300. They aren't easy to come by, all plastics aren't available anymore, and still seem to command a pretty good dollar. Upside is they are bulletproof and seem to resell for what you pay for them.

For reference, from Left to right for size comparison is the Freestyle, ZR200 and ZR120

I’ve got a Phantom 250 long track that I would be willing to part with. It’s been great for my now 10 year old.

I was planning on keeping it for another year since we can not buy the a/c Blast or yammi venom in Canada this year.

But if anyone is interested I’ll let it go and get him the evo RMK and then trade up to the blast next year.

The Phantom’s fit and Finnish is a little weak but it has defiantly been great for us as there has been nothing compatible. We have had it about 6 seasons. Runs great. Has e-start and reverse.

And it’s not 10 Grand+ like what I will replace it with!

So far at the dealers I have inquired at, if it wasn’t snow checked they don’t have any to sell. Same for the yammi.

I really wanted to see a blast or venom this season.
Crazy they restricted numbers to just snowchecks, how do you pay for the tooling and tech with no sales promo and demo rides?

I am thinking it’s due to the BRP Vs A/C scandal. The Yamaha dealers each said they only 1 venom coming in. But the trail model... long tracks were snow check Only, except Yamaha didn’t even market it or say it was available.

Good luck selling the trail model here for 12 k. I’ll wait or go with the evo for a year.

Never heard of a phantom. How much would you be looking to get for it? Looks like it would probably be perfect.

the Phantom was at the sled show one year, it's an "off brand" machine but looks like a good size and likely a good price point for those "in between" sled kids!

I know we're looking forward to picking up the 120 from you for our little dude!

Are there any dealers for the Phantom in Edmonton area? They look like a good option for the boy? He is seven turning eight this year, would like something he won’t out grow in a year

I believe that the company that sells all of the Chinese quads and pit bikes on the south side beside hobby wholesale was selling them at one point. I can’t remember their name, but they literally share the parking lot with the hobby shop.

I may be interested in selling my kids 02 legend 380F this year. Not sure if brand name would be better for you or not.
