I'm sure sledding is way more risky and you do that??

Totally agree, but my sleds and trailer arent worth 200k. Sucks even more because last summee twice a month I'd travel to vancouver/mission/kelowna for racing. Bc beat me :(

Not that my stuff is worth a bunch but I will be rigging up a hidden camera that will maybe at least hold them accountable and a visit from the RCMP, these assholes need to get caught and charged for this pesky bulls$!t, I will be going the same as usual and there will be a few more weapons in my trailer forsure, I would love to catch someone messing with my stuff, it will be a bad day for them.

For what we pay to stay in them they should hire a guy. Every year rates at the Days Inn in Revy keep going up. I asked the girl why the increases? What improvements will I see in my room. She said nothing but the cost of living. Lmao! Really it was for rodent removal most likely.

I will be sledding, lots of time for attitudes to change. Maybe more day trips than normal,
Its the staging areas that make me wonder. lug nuts are not a big deal, and it will be easy to determine if someone messed with a wheel by the footprints in the snow.
Cut valve stems would piss me off, body damage etc, that cam happen anytime anywhere unfortunately.

I wanted to go to BC on holidays again this summer, that Douche Horgan and his comments made the decision easy.

By the time I am done with hunting season, processing in my garage and sobering up it is usually Christmas break before I start sledding.
Maybe sneak in a one day trip odd year.
Lots of time for the crazies to get caught and pulverized in parking lots before I show up.

I’m not as concerned about the vandalism as much as the government’s shutting down the clubs ability to groom and my 47 year old body not being able to handle 20 km of 3’+ Moguls.

It always existed, the hipsters were just too afraid to do anything

So you think they feel empowered by Horgan?

You guy do realize this blown say out of proportion
I agree that its blown way out of proportion for the most part. Just sucks that I was targeted at my own house at the beginning of the pandemic. Kinda makes a guy paranoid to leave his truck sitting anywhere.

Some of us folk from Alberta worked hard for nice toys. Your comment only shows the jealousy is still there lol
HaHa! He's a born and bred Alberta boy, that retired from the oil patch and is as right wing as it gets. But he does make a good point. Some of the guys driving those trucks would embarrass most Albertans. Just sayn.

There are more Alberta plates in and around Kaslo and Nelson then bc plates right now. Guys feel free to visit, if your not sick and know your safe please come on over. Some people are scared that anyone from Alberta is going to make them sick.... we’ll Kelowna is a hot spot but can you tell the difference?
really let’s all be respectful to each other and live our life. My kid came over From Alberta and was scared someone would vandalize his truck, I guess I live in a good neighborhood because we drove around here and not one bad comment happened.
we are in it together so your all good and welcome by me.
