Valemount / VARDA 2020 2021 Support Drive

The month of August bring about the most important times of year for us here at VARDA.


August is our annual sponsorship drive and we need help from our supporters now more than ever as we look forward to an amazing winter season ahead. I know you all have heard about our issues at Clemina and rest assured we are doing all we can to be sure we have access to this valuable area come winter season.


While we are all affected in some way or another, we are certainly still seeing the desire to visit and play in our beautiful village. It has been a very busy summer and VARDA is looked at as the major source of information for all things outdoor fun.


We understand it has been a strange few months and challenging times for many, but we must look ahead and plan for a successful upcoming year.


Due to covid and its economic impact on some industries and operations, we took a long look at our offerings and incentives for the 2020-2021 year and tried to focus on ways to retain our supporters and while getting through this current situation.


We have come up with amazing added incentives for those who choose to renew at their previous level, but we have also created an avenue where one can remain at their past level for much less cost for the upcoming season simply without receiving the additional incentives.


The SOS option is also a great way for new subscribers to see what this program is all about and get a full year of value for a very affordable price.


Our main goal was to offer a way for our supporters to remain or increase their previous levels with either a reduced cost or some amazing additional incentives.


We can't say it enough, we rely on industry and private support to be as active as we are and it's people and businesses such as yours that play a massive part in this.

Thanks a lot for the stoke. We cannot sell technically until after our AGM which will be late September / early October as last years membership do not expire until Oct 1 and it would throw the digital world into a downward tail spin...lol

Just bumping this up to the top again for another look. There are some pretty amazing incentives offered for club support. Wether you are looking for marketing for you business or simply a good way to help the club, please give us a consideration. All sponsorship are considered advertising expenses and can be used as a write off for your company.

Take the new GOLD level option for example. Support with the full price and receive TWO season passes along with all the advertising benefits in return. Those two passes along are worth $500.

Covid or not, we have been working hard around here. Full clearing of Oasis access road, clearing of Lower Westridge Loop, hand falling of the Goat Ridge access route to open up the trail more for safety and grooming, working on Keyhole access, Chappell front end tree spacing etc etc. And most important of all, we are continuing discussing and planning to ensure that we have access to Clemina Creek this winter.

All of this takes resources and we need your help.
