Isn't that for the financing outfit? It isn't the dealers that are financing.
Do the dealers get a cut of the financing cost?

Unless things have changed the dealer is a basically a broker for financial institutions.
They get a % for looking after paper work .
Same as extended warranty and any other items that are offered .

BTW........I don't recall saying I was having so much fun. That was back in about 2005 so my memory may not remember that far back.

This is a bizarre time. My Brother in Law decided to look for a Sea Doo. He knows nothing about anything mechanical so I said I would look for him. Nothing new to be found and those who have close to new and have put super low hours on them, believe they are made of gold right now and will get their money back after COVID forced them to buy a hobby they no longer like or can afford to pay for.

Take a peek through Kijiji, they aren't moving, but none the less, there are a number of Spark's listed for $14k+! Some are as old as 17. I could have bought a new 3up demo with IBR and trailer at the end of last year for $10.5k!

My guess is that the CERB money will wear off, and people will pull back on their finances slightly. Homes sales were up over summer I read as well because of low interest rates. I hear vehicle sales are similar. Maybe there's a balance as people aren't going out and spending disposable income as much as they previously had, but I think the well has to run dry.

I'm starting to think I may ditch heading West this year all together. I didn't get out last year, between work and some other unfortunate things which didn't let us get West. A turbo 900 or a backcountry 850 in the flats and going back to 2-300 miles days might just be enough this year.
