I found a 600mile all original 2002 yamaha srx in Pennsylvania and I would like to buy it. Any ideas on how to get her home to Alberta?

Same as bringing a car across the border. You need to have all the paperwork lined up.

Honestly I'd try to get a hold of a company that ships RV's up here. Maybe you can get it on with a truck pulling a travel trailer that has the extra deck space. Most of these haulers seem to be one man operations, maybe they'd go for the extra cash. All the manufacturing plants are in Indiana so you'd have to get it from Pennsylvania to there.

But how the paper work for something like that goes I'd have no idea.

Nobody really likes dealing with east Indian trucking outfits but they do run cheap.

Only way i would ship it is if you can get it crated if not in a cube with a moving company, specialty car hauler if not just drive and get it. Road trip with a buddy. Probably a few bucks to get it to you safe

Q-Line trucking brings a lot of farm equipment into western Canada from the states. Maybe they'd have room for a crate on one of their trailers?

Tfx international hauls vehicles and bikes. Sure they would do a sled. They handle all the paper work. All you have to do is pay. Unfortunately because of the times right now, a 1000$ haul is closer to 1500$. A friend is having them haul his bike back from Arizona to Edmonton and that’s what’s it’s costing.

I’ve left them 3 voicemails now. Haven’t heard back from em.

I sold a sled to a 14 year old kid in the states a few years back, he arranged everything I just had to drop it off at a shipping company in Calgary. His mother called and spoke with me to make sure he wasn't getting ripped off prior but he was able to organize the rest himself.. So it can't be that hard

I heard a large number of people are shipping their sport cars, RV's etc back from the States because they do not have access to them. Apparently their insurance is not valid if they sit for more than 6 months without attention.
Might not be a cheap load to ship if all trucks are full
