who has built a track support for short sled deck?

I am thinking of welding a couple support pieces for my track/skid. I have see the odd one but never got a chance to look closely. Didn't MLine make some too? My loading bar is square (STF) so shouldnt be too hard to fab.

Any pictures of your design?

i have some i built for a marathon deck which is round tube, i cant get pics to work, but if you pm me with your text i could send you pics or since your in edmonton, i'm on west end if you want to look sometime.

If you are cheap get a 2x12 or glue lam plank and run it from UNDER your superclanp to the back of your track.
One ratchet strap around back of deck tube and through skid and you are solid and sled not looking all saggy jazz.
Or just buy a deck made to have an extension works as an option if concerned about insurance liabilities.

Here is one that I built for my Marlon deck. They work ok. You have to watch where you put your cross bars so they don't end up on a lug.

How do you load/unload with those on?

Load with them off. Lift back end over to side of deck. Slip in extension. Lift back end of sled on top. Use them when traveling long distances. Staging area to lodging they stay in the back of the truck.

They're actually very easy to slide in with the sled on the deck, just use your shoulder under the track to lift it a couple inches and you have both hands free to put the support in

if you have a summit with t-motion after you park sled install front clamp then just pull handle bar over to lean sled slightly, then can install extension without lifting, clamp rear which levels sled out and good to go
