Now that I think about it, I guess there would have been some guys who rode late September this past Fall down in Cataract Creek area IIRC. And a quick search shows some Washington boys hitting the snow line on 8-1-11. Although sounds like it wasn't more than a half mile strip of snow haha

Revy club members rode Keystone in August about 15 years ago. Tried to find pic or link but to no avail. I know it was in one of the local papers. just to say they finally did it. This may be a repeat if we don't get too much heat or rain.

Where is the good riding in NL? west coast?
West Coast gets better snow for sure. i'm from the east coast of NL on the avalon peninsula, snows lots, but most times followed by rain shortly after. central has good trail riding, but the boys on the west coast do get some elevation and better snow without a doubt.

I've been out to Hibernia a couple times, and the boys always told me about their sledding on the west coast. I was Surprised that the guys had full built mountain sleds.

I've done Harvey (out of Fernie) on the longest day of the year with SnowJunkie82 and ThrottleOps Photography. That got my June ride in. July hasn't happened yet, nor has August. Early September, I think it was the 8th, quite a few years back in Elkford. A quick Brappppp up the logging road after a freak storm that had dumped 12" up top and and maybe 6" in the yard.

That was a fun ride! June 21, 2016 (Maybe 2015) Trying to find some pictures from it.

Here is a ride out of Castle Falls on Oct. 2, 2019

There was a magazine article on this years ago. Some americans did it. They came to Revy and had a chopper bring them up to a glacier on July 31 and they spent the night. So got two hardest months that way.

I read that article. poor buggers damn near froze that night. way above tree line and couldn't get wood to start a fire.

If I remember it was Gerry from Selkirk that flew them in, he stopped flying sledders into Glaciers after that.

My records show June 20 of 2014 Aaron. We drove to the snow line (Callan scratched the hell out of his truck), and pretty much unloaded on the snow. The amazing part was all the pink pollen from the fir trees. No damage and no trees hurt that trip.

I’ve now seen live videos of sledding down in whistler area (i think) today, August 4th. Some of you may know which crazy individual I am referring to.

Although I would probably cook up the same crazy idea, just to say I did too. This guys ridden a bunch of days in July already too!
