What's not to believe? Much of the timeline and events have been substantiated by comparing with non-religious historical recordings. As far as the supernatural aspects of it, that is for each individual to determine by experiences they have. The bible was recorded by many scribes and writers over a long period of time and many went to their death to defend what they had written or seen. There are not many in this day and age that would choose death when they could have lived by denouncing their beliefs. Funny that those who speak the most about the many subjects are the least versed in them. Wow, am I doing that now??
