Kanedog 2015-2019, thanks for the good times S&M!
Kanedog last predicted an Arctic Cat performance domination from 2017-2021.

Brp is just killing it with new products and is mowing over all competitors with sheer numbers. They have made a machine out of marketing and marketing trinkets. I love the linq system.

So the G4 platform will be 10 years old in 2026. Sounds like doo would be copying Cat on how long you can milk a chassis....

Brp like the rest will take BIG SALES HITS due to the virus and tons of people not having jobs and money to spend on toys. Doesn't matter how good of product they have if the money isn't there to buy they won't sell.

And too many people are getting stupid with their complaints every year, so more and more gimmicks are getting added and reflects in the purchase price rising. Just like vehicles, most of it is not even used.

Over the years the recreational market has marketed the add ons or even for that matter bought them out .
For example Polaris
BRP IMO has done the best of all moving into this market with lots of really top of the line products .
Big money in accessories.

May not affect new sales as much, so many finance basically the whole thing . Prolly beat up the used market more , tougher to finance . It never ceases to amaze me the tolerance some have to fully finance a sled , comments like new sled is no big deal , it’s only $200/ month , until times like now !

You may call them gimmicks but have you ever seen anyone trying to carry extra fuel in a regular jug tied on with rubber bands......then look at a doo Jerry can. I think all their add ons are done right

When I think of “gimmicks” and “add ons” increasing the cost of a sled I wouldn’t consider accessories, you can choose to buy those or not and easily remove them from the sled. I was thinking stuff more like Doo’s SHOT, or the quick drive on a Poo. Most people think of those as necessities after having them, not gimmicks. I cannot think of one gimmick on my sled, just awesome improvements over my previous XP/XM.

As far as gimmicks on vehicles, I agree. I’m a ford guy and that trailer back up assist thing is a total gimmick. Just damn well learn to back up a trailer.
