Love that Sonic! Best sled I ever owned and never saw snow. Raced it in NWSA and dominated with it in Stock B and C ovals. That thing cornered on a rail and flew down the chutes.
x2 on the Sonic. Looked like it was always ready to kick ASS. Never owned but sure wanted too back then.

My first sled was a 76 RV 340 bought it for $500. I could rip down the Sturgeon River full throttle. Wish I never sold it.

In the early 90's dad bought a 500 Everest. Started on that. Then he bought a '91 Cheyenne. Later a '95 Wild cat. And a 2000 ZR 600.

When he bought the ZR I mostly rode the Wildcat.
Hated that thing. Finally bought my own in 2004. Bought a '04 SXviper. Then a '01 mountain max 600.
Went in halfers with my dad on a 2004 1M 900. (Mom told him no. So we faked he was helping me buy it)
Then an '09 crossfire 800.
Sold both Yamahas and bought an '09 crossfire 1000.
Then bought a 2015 HCR. Sold the 1000. Bought a 2019 M8000. And sold the cross fire 800.

Dad still has his ZR600
I just have my 15 HCR and 19 M8000

Have been thinking about this and thought why not list them - no pics handy.
1st sled was a Skidoo Elan 250. Had it for about 3 years. I still remember chasing gophers with that sled in the spring and riding at our local shool yard - cant do that now.
2nd sled was a 79 Yamaha Enticer 340. Couldnt kill that machine. Relaible as hell.
3rd sled was 86 Polaris Indy 440 LC. 1st Polaris of many. Another reliable sled.
4th sled was a 91 Polaris Indy 500. Fun as hell. I actually owned 2 of these sleds for a while.
5th sled was a 96 Indy XLT. Long tracked that sled to a 136". Triple piped it. Went thru a lot of pistons and a few cranks with this sled. Ice, snow and grass drags and a lot of mountain trips. Rode lots around home also.
6th sled was a 99 Polaris RMK 700 144". Another fun sled. Only had to replace a top end once on that sled since I owned it.
7th sled was a 02 700 RMK 700 144". Bullet proof sled. Close to 10000 miles on it with 3 top ends done on it. Kid finally wrecked it last winter and is now a parts sled. Also have a 2004 another 2003 700 RMKs for the kids. Plus a 2008 600 RMK that has to get fixed - again.
8th sled was a 2008 Polaris RMK 700 155". Went thru 2 motors on that one.
9th sled was a 2011 Polaris RMK 800 163". Awesome sled. 2 top end jobs. Sold that sled this year and it is still running great.
10th sled is a 2014 Skidoo 800 154" Summit X Snow Check model. 6500miles on it Had to replace the head and stator on this sled 2 winters ago.
11th and current sled is 2020 Arctic Cat Alpha Hardcore 154". My first Cat - besides a kitty kat I bought for my kids when they were young. Now this sled is super fun. Im still learning how to ride this baby. But a really fun sled to ride and no issues to date.

I have also had 3-Polaris 340 Polaris Indy Lites and a Snowhawk Jr for the kids. So I am kinda amazed Ive had this much iron over the years. 19 in total of snow fun. No wonder my bank account is so low come end of winter...…………….

I had to do a lot of thinking to remember back and think I have them all sorted out and in order. Some were obviously race sleds as I oval raced and tried sno cross in the old NWSA, SSRA and the World Championships at Eagle River which was the USSA Central Division. Helped to own a dealership for 25 years to. Sorry no pics as I am technically disadvantaged for pics on this site:
