Anyone have a video of the new 7s display looks slick but can’t find any videos dedicated to just that. I see it has hand warmer controls that will hold a temp u set, that’s a nice feature to have them automatically controlled!

New chassis for the trail sled.
trail sleds always seem to be a year ahead, 2015 axys for trail stuff and 16 for mountain.

Lower gearing to take the load off the drive train for the belt drive and 3” track. Still not enough but a step in the right direction. It shows Poo is at least looking at the gearing. Very good.

It's okay for the shorter sleds. Not so much for the 174.
Throw a pipe and can on and the power to weight against the turbo will improve to be not much different at 6-7000'.
Less weight will be les tiring all day long.
Fully clip and loosen the track and kazinga - get on the snow even quicker.

If direct injection was so great why does the skidoo 850 also run throttle body injection?
Oh wait, it's so they can run their "turbo" at 165hp and 2psi boost and sell it for $6k more. lmfao
Unless you ride 6000ft plus all the time, the extra cash for the doo turbo isn't worth it in my opinion. Polaris plays it safe, so be it. I don't think Polaris sales will suffer enough to really matter. I still say that Polaris has a great snow check program that the others could learn from.

Personally would love to have the 165” 2.75 Khaos, very cool sleds. Financially it just doesn’t work right now but I may look for a leftover 2020 Khaos 850 if I can sell my Cat and my BMW Adventure.
Would it have been nice for some bigger news, yes it would have, but my guess is the Matryx chassis goes to the mountain lineup next year and that will include an update to the engine with the little spinny thing added in with the same concept as Doo but possibly another 10hp just to continue the pissing match.
Little disappointed that they still don’t come with a tether, which is ridiculous, but overall I can’t say I am surprised with any of this launch.

So what year will we be seeing a 850 HO coming to mountain sleds? 2022 will be on the Matryx chassis with a 7 lb drop and with the series 8 track in a longer version, another 6-7 lbs. Then the Patriot HO with a porkchop crank should lose 2 more lbs (this last one is a prediction). Sub 400 lbs is going to be sweet. In the mean time a great sled is only getting better for 2021. Sure only 5 lbs.for 2021 because of the new track (155")but the longer sleds going to Quickdrive 2 and a lighter track is significant.
