With everybody complaining about G4 clutching tracks ect just wondering how the turbos are holding up now that they have a month or so of riding on the clock.

so far so good, i am very careful with it though. Easy on the trail, limited spinning on hardpack, no boosting over stumps lol.

Max Reread your post. What I get outa it is. I drive my sled like a b***h so I don’t rip a track. Pull that track off sell it to someone who ripped one and slap a X3 on it and send it. Then report I held that doo to the bars all morning was outa fuel by noon and love every minute of it. Being careful is like not pounding.... nvm.

Lol when it’s in snow it’s full throttle. I regularly run out of fuel by noon, especially on the turbo. I just have learned what to avoid. These tracks aren’t built like the old camp extreme they need a small amount of respect lol

After shooting a 280 out the back of my turbski at 75 mph and Paying out of pocket for a chopper ride I’ll never have anything other than a X3. Ripping a track really ruins your day.

Not hard to run out of fuel by noon on the turbo with a bluebird day and good snow. Easy 3hrs of riding and it’s empty.

If you had 3 ft of fresh right from the parking lot do you think you could get 60Km on the stock fuel tank?

The turbo 850 is harder on fuel but not that much more over a NA.

I put 80miles on Saturday, and split my spare can of fuel with a 850T that was in our group on Sat. My sled was Beeping low fuel at me and he said he had 1-2bars left. Error in the gauge reading between sleds is a possibility, but when My sled beeps at me I have approximately 5L left in the tank.

I did 97kms in keystone last week, I broke trail from the trucks...about a foot on the trail and 2-3 in the back...I ran out 4kms from the truck with using my 13L jerry....sled ran mint all day...not hard to love the boost

What do you expect the engine life expectancy on the 850T? Same a the NA 850? Are the maintenance intervals the same?

No you can’t even fit 2 regular cans because of the spacing of the brackets. You might be able to stack a small one on a big one. But the handle on the big one might get in the way.

depends on the climbs and if you’re breaking trail. If you’re boosting it heavy, long pulls, it sucks fuel. If you can stay out of the boost some it’s not bad, but that’s no fun. I doubt you’d get 60km in 3ft pow unless the terrain was mellow.

Put on 195 KM last week packed a 25 with 27 L and a 20 with 23L only burned 1/2 of the 23L and oil was about 1/4 down.
