Nice one Max! I have 1400km cancun put a damper on it as I have been here for the week. I have cleaned my belt once and clutches with s1 nothing to blow out, and there is an new chain and I have not had to adjust it yet. Have not done my chain case but it should be done after break in as spec and then every 1000km for those who want to know. Keep shredding buddy, I am in the air at 36000 feet on west jet connect so loading up and out tomorrow morning, from the flowryder surf machine in the resort to the mtn in about 12 hrs. Oh yeah!!!

Maxwell for the doolaid you push I really like this review and it’s exactly what I want to hear the lack of blowing a belt is a big deal to many of us considering one of these good stuff.

Just curious since these are boosted machines do the service intervals change, or does brp recommend the same as the na 850?

yep, not turbo specific though i feel like the experts with the short tunnel and no flap all have heating issues in those frozen bumpy trails. they need snow kicked into the skid forsure. If your cruising on a groomed trail shouldnt be an issue.

Yup a guy on an expert was overheating too. I hear there is a snow flap for these. Anyone have good results with that.

Forming new blisters holding onto this turbo. Seen some Arctic Cat boon docker turbos on the hill today, saying 75kmh track speed, pretty sure I’ve been hitting 78-80. They were running 50/50 av gas.

Burned about half a tank more fuel than buddy on NA 850. He had trouble on a few climbs, had to turn out and got stuck, I went flying by doing a wheelie.

Basecamp sent a demo turbo doo out to eagles pass this week, had the privilege of riding it for a bit and all I can say is that thing is an absolute monster. Climbed anything I had the balls to point it to. Superb handling in the trees too. Converted the Polaris guy that was riding with us.

One thing I noticed and don’t like, it doesn’t turn side to side as easy as the NA sleds, the extra weight placement makes that noticeable to me.

I thought the lightweight hood offset all the turbo weight?

Maybe a can will help?

Hmm interesting! I don’t have an expert to compare too so never really noticed that. Turbo is high and Centered so much guess is the stock exhaust maybe

Idk max
it just looks like sledding to me with a cool turbo sound
my n/a 850 Polaris can do all that to ,with out an altitude adjusting turbo

post a vid that only a doo turbo can do

Ya I will admit the snow I was in half the video was marginal with good traction definetly not any pulls a stock sled wouldn’t do. First time I pulled the go pro out so figured some footage was better than none. Don’t worry fella, lots of season left I’m sure I’ll get some footage that will put your concerns to rest LOL

you’ve already answered the question without knowing it. Weight placement up higher will make it harder to pull over side to side. Even though it may seem minor, the higher it gets the more pronounced it will be.
