Turbo is pretty darn close to centred

Good because the turbo will be heavier than what is lost with the addition of a light can. Maybe the complaints I have heard are more of a high center of gravity than a unbalanced sled? Personally I rode the T850 a couple times and I didn't mind it as where it may feel heavier I also found I like the clutching and power band much more than the N/A version. Kinda offset any negatives with a positive to make it a fun sled. It is especially fun to see how long you can hold the flipper to the bars on a twisty trail above a steep drop to certain death. It gets moving pretty fast once the boost hits.

I did find the turbo initially felt front end heavy, but this was significantly improved with tightening up the front track shock. Handling was vastly better!

When people roll up on me with loud cans... I think I'm going to cough on them.

They are a waste of money, buy something useful... head lamp for when things go sideways, new first aid kit, upgrade your av bag, new beacon (I still see peeps with analog ones), etc.

i thought that was the first thing you were supposed to do if you bought a doo. put the loudest stupid can on so even your mommy can hear you from home.
then take a butcher knife and cut the piss flap off so you can chunk others on the trail when you pass them.

Most people would be crying for mommy in those trees

We must have been raised differently . When things get tough or challenging , i don't default , apparently like you, to want my mommy . But it does explain a lot about you . Maybe you should have spent more of your young years with Dad , and not relied on mommy .

rescued a guy one time stuck in maybe intermediate type terrain. Brand new Doo 850 with a brand new loud can on it he was bragging about but wearing old worn out snowboard gear that was soaked right through. We had to strip him down and give him our spare base and mid layers and bread bags for his feet to avoid further hypothermia.

I came from divorced parents and went to eight different grade schools going back and forth between parents. I didn’t cry for Mommy and Daddy much. Cool thing is I got to skip 2 grades. I was super smart and I skipped grade 1 and grade 9.

if someone who had a can had the stock can put back in without them knowing and sounded the same, they would not notice, anyone who says yes is lying, i use to have this convo with electric start then guys saying they feel the weight and it is 20 pounds. i call BS, then if so they can feel their gas getting lower as the day goes on, some guys say yes, which is funny as they say they would notice that when their skid at the same time has been filling up with powder and ice. You wont notice it, I come from racing bikes and counting every gram but you wont notice this weight unless your trying to beat keith curtis to the top of jackson hill climb and again it would be more psychological than actually making a difference. Like Maxwell says ride it first, the sound of the turbo is way more impressive than a can. I guarentee you will feel the same after riding it. Again no problem with guys buying cans, but you are just throwing your dollars away, skidoo spends a huge amount of money in design and noise and power efficiency. It would be huge money and time to come close to beating it.
Dave, I think you just inspired me to get estart on my sled
