All the new kits are reliable - you just have to be mechanically inclined is all

No one wants to turn nuts on their 25k sled in the snow on the hill in -10. Factory turbo is the golden ticket. These are real engineers with big brains and lots of RD behind them, not a guy with a shop and a tig welder.

I like to ride, not tinker with my toys all day.

My buddy has a sidekick 850 Doo and it's a push the orange button and pin it kind of weapon - the new kits are flawless as long as you stick with a certain few kits that is all - listen to the mandalorion "This is the way" - $21,000 for 165hp is not worth it - sorry to say - this is NOT the way!

Why do you have to tinker with turbos?

The key is to have the lowest hp to dollar ratio that you can - the new Doo is $127/HP - a redline kit would be closer to about $84/HP

Actually bud, I have a 900hp Stage 3 whipple C63 that I built and daily drive all summer long. It’s also the fastest Mercedes in Canada and does a 10.2 at Castrol in a 4000lbs car.

Oh ya, not to mention the Star Racing SnS 126” I built that does 165rwhp SAE correction, that runs 10s with forward controls too.

I guess some of those TV remotes can get pretty confusing though.

It’s a factory turbo, wait till the tunes and muffler delete comes out. If the internals can handle the power, I guarantee there is room to increase boost. Not to mention upgraded turbos that will eventually be released for it. That combined with factory engineering will be tough to beat from a reliability and power perspective.

Mechanically inclined and ready to be tweaking regularly on the hill and spending more and more $ on drive train, skid etc only to fire sale your sled when its time to upgrade... I'll gladly take less hp for factory turbo, less headaches and more riding!

That's cool!! I have a super charged mustang that I built too and its a 10 sec car! I was just giving you a hard time cuz of one of your past remarks towards mme but you handled it with dignity! My bad. Cheers

I've run boondocker turbos since Nov 2010 on 4 different Polaris sleds, I have run them at 6, 9, 12 and 15 lbs. I have never had a turbo related issue, never had to tinker with chit.... never pulled a side panel off for anything other than add oil or regular maintenance on belt etc.
Good luck boys with your new turboed doo, your going to love it!!!

What kind of out the door price are you guys seeing with these sleds for anyone who’s bought one and where? I don’t own a skidoo and haven’t for years but they are going to sell a pile of these. Aftermarket turbos will always have there place guys will always want more and right now it defiantly makes more sense to run one financially up front. But from what I’ve seen you buy a $15,000 sled throw a $5000-7000 turbo on it put 2000km on it mixing race fuel and try to sell it and you will take a huge beating. An OEM designed sled with a turbo and warranties will hold a lot more value. I have to give doo huge props for being ahead of the game again. Anyone know if you could stuff a qsl lockout shock into a coil elimination kit on these.
