Anybody know how to get ahold of the company that makes these scratchers? I would love to give them a piece of my mind - sorry meant to call them skid rail scratchers not tunnel

They're made by Over the Top Performance. I know Boost It used to sell them. Not sure how else to find them.

I emailed them -over the top performance- asked them if they are the manufactures of these - I'm on my third set now - every trip 4 day trip I go on - I comeback with at least one of them broken from the whoops - I keep buying them because they work great at throwing snow - I would love it if they made them out a bit thicker steel - not quite construction grade in my opinion

I tried a couple sets and had issues as well, would lose the reversible feet and had a couple break off. Tried cable scratchers and lost the tip within the first 2km up the trail I always go back to the standard black scratchers.

CR racing is a dealer. They had problems quite a few years ago with them breaking, I did one on each side. I thought the new ones were supposed to be fixed. I never had another problem with them but I can't imagine you're still getting stock that is that old.

Not sure what they are on,.. but I just opted for the stock Polaris scratchers,.. the ice storm reversibles aren't all that.

They should do their product testing on Eagle pass trail on a busy day - because that trail is destroying at least one of my scratchers each 4day trip - and I'm riding the Trail like a normal person not even kamikaze at all

I run the Ski-Doo scratchers on my axys 174’. Had similar problems with these and especially the stock scratchers. Doo scratchers have lasted and work great. You need to drill one hole on each side and they fit in no problem. Throw tons of snow, no problem with overheating, keep the sled nice and cool. I’d recommend going and buying a set and trying it out!

I ran ice storm on my summit for 4 years and my cat for 3 years now. 0 problems. I must have got lucky.

I used them lots, had a few replaced warranty, but have given up on them
They throw snow like nothing else out there
But sic of them breaking off, so I put the springy doo ones on both sleds, they work OK ish, but don't have snow like the storms would

I know right the ice storms are by far superior for throwing the snow - I love the ski scratchers by them- I have them on both my machines with 3" paddles - I can watch my temp go from 70c to 50c in like 1000ft on the trail - if they just made em outta thicker steel

before doo had the longer scratchers with the double spring we ran these with great luck, stock doo ones were only 3/8" into the snow with 3" track, as soon as you got on the throttle and front of the skid lifted they didn't do anything!
and you can go into the enclosed, up the deck ramp and back up with them down! handy for forgetful peeps like me!
also rather then their cheap plastic hold block I opted for a 5/16 square top u bolt and just cut it in half for holders.

Nice those look like they wouldn't rub the side of the 16" wide track as bad as the doo scratchers with the dbl coil

Ive never had an issue with ice storms, besides one bending but that was rider error...still keeps the sled decently cool down the trail

I had them a couple of years ago and the reversible tips broke off on 2 sets so I gave up and just run conventional scratchers. Maybe they make them stronger now but I'm done with them. Reverse feature only works on smooth hard pack snow anyway.

Put a set of ski z's on and have not touched the rail scratchers yet. This is on packed trail and not glare ice.

I have the ski scratchers by ice storm - they are good but on an iced over trail in the am at eagles pass @ Malakwa - (boosted 3" 174") she tends to get a bit on the warmish side sometimes

Ski scratchers suck if thats all you have. They only help lube the tips of the rails really. They do not throw snow into the track that then gets flung around and into tunnel where it can cool sled. Ya gotta run a skid set too with the ski ones.
