doo is a nice design but they break more then any other scratcher I have tried. Wrecked 3 sets before I went back to the RSR. Bottom line all the hard ones break in my experience. Have a set of cable scratchers that lasted 7 years and other ones that didnt make the first ride! Have to waste a bunch of money till you get a good set it seems.

The cable scratchers aren't the answer either. Barely put any pressure on the snow after some time.
If you go with cable scratchers, keep them down when in storage so they don't lose their original shape as fast.

thought most Polaris, Cat and Yamaha riders would be too proud, stubborn or narrow minded to put anything made by BRP on their sleds.
For sure keep them down other then to load/unload sleds. They don’t throw as much as solid ones but get the job done!
I like the doo scratchers but can not mount on the Alpha, but there is a doo gas can on the tunnel.
Broke one plastic mount on the scratcher but they throw the best snow.
You can not beat Linq accessories from doo for solid mounting.

I`m surprised you guys have seen so many issues with them, We have them on 4 sleds for the past few years and I`ve broken one tip off. Haven`t bought any for a couple years now, maybe they`re starting to cheap out on the steel now
The carry bracket has changed since first introduced, they do not break any more.
Chang occurred in 2017 early season.
Once I did the change up, no more breakage.

Where can you buy these ice storms now? I have issues with heat and the cable scratchers just do enough.
