Anyone hear why Cat did not put a booth in the show. Seems very strange. Saw an article a month or so back about sleds losing money for Textron.
no Cat booth at Edm sled show ??

I was talking to my dealer on Thursday and he mentioned that. I joked that they had no sleds to sell this year anyway since they sold them all in April. Seeing as they planned a partial release of the 2021 models already, you would think this could have been a great opportunity to drive pre-sales on them.

Spending money on these shows isn’t an issue for Textron that’s for sure. But as u said it’s not going to drive new customers into dealerships without the visibility.

Maybe Arctic Cat will be like the LaFerrari and Lamborghini of the sled world. No advertising but hard to get and usually sold out.

Working on a few options Higgins. Some smoker deals on NEW 17 Cats .........but u know I have
VES Gold running through my veins lol
Let’s just say I will have a new ride to follow u around This winter.
More to come ....
I just hope Cat sticks around. Good for the industry as a whole. Guess we will see come April.

No need for Cat to attend the shows. It’s prolly at least a $30,000 hit for each show when you factor in employees, hotels, meals, 18 wheelers etc. Most of the 2020’s are spoken for and 2019 models are in demand. Cat aftermarket companies are busy as all heck. They are happy and makin a few bucks too. There’s a ton of performance and beauty trinkets to add to personalize your sled.
It really is amazing to watch this strategy occur. I’m not saying it cuz I like Cat. I would say it if Doo or Poo was doing nifty new things too. But they aren’t. This is cool to be part of.
