Dang! Cat is changing traditional sled marketing to the good. Getting in everyone’s head with the earliest model release ever. The industry needed a shake up so this is cool to witness.
Textron gots sum wicked smart peeps. It’s like watching a movie on the edge of my seat, anticipating the next move.

JK, I guess we will see whats else they release. The coil overs look good.

Haha, Cat front coil overs topped only by Doos 1mm smaller diameter bars. The smaller bars make a huge improvement in handling and flickability. Same with coil overs haha

What?? .....Not having one of the big four at the show in Edmonton will be disappointing for most. That's never happened before. The cat loyalists will have to wait another year.....

It’s at almost at the year low today. By the look of the graphs, seems to be some market manipulation and skull duggery going on. Might be a good time to buy some just before the next quarter earnings announcement and then sell right after. No guarantees.

Skidoo marketing needs to advertise that with a new sled purchase you get 60 free belts with it.
That way you can ride for 2 months before you have to start buying your own.

Yeah I can pretty much guarantee we won't sell 30 belts total this year at our store and that's including most guys taking a spare when they buy a new sled. Lots of guys trading up and bringing their new spare from their previous G4 sled with them instead of buying a new one.

I have no dog in the fight but it seems sorta like Cat is really the only one who has really stepped out of the box lately , actually brought something new to the game . It’s all nice and good to talk about adding 50 cc’s Like that’s huge industry innovation and accomplishment, or groovy new instrument panels and smaller diameter bars or different material used in components. I love these things also and applaud their development , but in reality some of our builders are finally satisfied after much pain and suffering that their belts last more than a week, some have finally got things changed where you don’t bust a spindle or tweak a belly module from small normal impacts. Cat does seem to be stepping out a bit maybe pushing envelope.

what envelope are they pushing exactly? how much money they can possibly loose before calling it quits? lol

Has there been instances in the past that the other builders have struggled with profits or had share price fluctuate ? I don’t really expect Cat to go away, but it would be unfortunate for a hell of a lot of people if they did. Not sure what it would say about a person if that would make someone happy.
