Is it me, or has this show got smaller and smaller every year?
Its crazy expensive for a booth, and just to get in the door for 1 person, is alot of coin.
I didn’t go last year, but found the previous year a bit disappointing.

I've never gone before, bought the 2 for 1 so we'll see how it goes.

Booths for these large shows are extremely expensive. I heard Martins spends $200,000 to do the boat show in Calgary but that includes all the detailers and support staff as well. Crazy.

Booths are expensive and can add up fast especially if you are paying staff to be there. The show is smaller this year because many mod shops and producers have pulled out with low numbers from sales and interest. This is due to both the economy and that snowmobiles have evolved a lot lately. You buy a sled and it’s pretty much ready to go only a few mods needed to customize. But we as vendors need your support to keep this going or it would die fast. We need you to come and support all of us buy your stuff that weekend and see what’s new or what you missed that you need. Hopefully we sell out on hoodies and shirts this year and we have hats this year there already In. We also hope the full the brewhouse this year Saturday evening and make some good funds for a program that needs our help.
If any one has any items to donate for the silent auction and event please let us know by pm or contact myself or TylerG

I was there two years ago as well... first time I hit up the Edmonton show. Not the show I was expecting, kinda disappointing... Been many times to the smaller shows in the Calgary area, the lower cost venue with a “swap meet” setting outdoors was a lot better. Hosting at these larger inner city venues is a waste of money. IMO sledders would travel to a smaller, low cost place that has a more grassroots feel.

Have went for 6-7 years to help friends with a booth. It is crazy expensive for everything. Parking pass, Booth, power, terrible internet- that you pay silly for each computer
From the customer standpoint. Northlands prices are out to lunch. Parking, price to get in and then walk a mile b4 you see any sled stuff if you buy -carry it around or make a few more miles.
Maybe a different place would attract more vendors back and help with attendance?
The asa does do a heck of a job with the show so kinda sad to see it suffering

Sad to say after going for 9 straight years, I will not be checking out this years show. It's been getting smaller and more expensive every year. Pretty disappointing, seems like the big manufacturers and a few big dealers is about all that's there anymore, I really miss all the small shops that used to be there selling their stuff. Sounds like most of them have been priced out of the show.

I'd really like to see this show move to Red Deer with a lower cost venue all around, draw people and vendors from calgary and edmonton. Edmonton seems to be losing out on more and more things like this.

This is THE biggest fundraiser for the ASA every year, to see it dwindling is sad, but as many of said already costs of everything are driving people away.
