Does anyone have experience dealing with FXR for a return or credit on their clothing? My 16 year old daughter just had to have all FXR gear and the boots are terrible. Even on colder days her feet get soaked , then turn ice cold as the day goes on. I would like my money back or a different pair of boots to try but it sure it is worth the effort .
the jacket and pants so far have been good except when she took a spill it tore the tether attachment off of the jacket

Mine get wet but more from the inside out than outside in because my feet sweat like crazy. The boots aren’t very good though. I don’t recommend fxr to anyone.

what lbz says is true for alot of people think feet are getting wet but is from inside out not outside in. for panzerdog i would try again for warranty and tell them you use for ice fishing and see what they say. those should be warranty imo. seems companies nowadays have so many excuses for warranty.

I have FXR boots and a better model maybe but they have lasted long. Especially the soles are good and show little wear. I do get a little damp though but more on warm days. Could be sweat.

Both wife and i have FXR boots, in fact the wife has been wearing FXR boots for 12-13 years now. Not the same ones but has always gone back to the FXR and loves them.
My self i bounced around from one brand and model to another over the years and won't name them thinking i was smarter but finally got smart and took the wife's advice and have been in FRX for 3 years now.
What i find is people cheap out on trying to get the cheapest priced boots and expect them to perform. A base boot will give you base out come and while a riding boot is design to ride if you tend to just hang out don't expect to be warm, sledding boots are not Sorels or Baffins.
In fact most are poor at walking in snow with.
My boots after 3 seasons of abuse are starting to get damp but then the bottoms are fairly chewed from riding, so it might be time for a new pair.

I’m on my second season for my FXR boots, they’re junk now. Last trip my feet were wet every day, not just a little bull full on water squishing up between my toes wet.

The water comes in from the tongue, heat from clutch melts the snow on the boot and I felt it come down and drip in.

Would not recommend.

Motorfist alphas do this right from brand new. Gonna go back to Klim. Last pair lasted 6 years before they started leaking.

Klim soles suck, they wear out fast. Or at least the ones I had did.

With the newer boards, kicking the snow away isn't necessary as it was before. I get 180 days or 3 years of riding out of my Klim boots before they leak. I have never had a problem with the soles as I am not a constant kicker. Klim boots have been awesome for me; dry and warm and lots of support. IMHO, one gets what one pays for.

The best boot's i've ever had were the FXR Backshift Boa and the Klim's, got about the same performance and wear out of them and yes the soles tore apart and after 3rd season both would get damp and yes you do get what you pay for.
The worst boot's i ever had were BRP's, made by Baffin, fail before one season. The dealer gave me another pair free of charge and they did the same, came apart and leaked badly.
The other pair were the Motorfist Stomper boot's, after one season they came apart and started leaking after half a dozen rides in.

I have had good luck with FXR warranty, at least on their clothing. I would try and warranty my boots but they would likely laugh at me. They have been glued screwed and duct taped ten times over lol. They are the MtnPro BOA and have leaked from early on. I gooped the crap out of the tongue area because I could easily see how snow was getting into them. The BOA’s busted more than once but they are guaranteed for life on that system so I had to wait for spare parts then I just ordered more spares (free) rather than wait. The souls are destroyed after two seasons.

After going to Tobe gear last winter the FXR stuff is like Walmart quality in comparison. My Tobe boots and gloves are hands down the best I have owned.
