Now correct me if I’m wrong.....but is this not a helicopter chasing a herd of caribou? You can see the rotor wash and snow flying.

I have seen caribou in the back country and they are NEVER running for their lives like this

Probably a Govt hired chopper to get that pic.
Unfortunately in the powersports industry we are our own worst enemy, and it got even worse with the exposure social media has given the industry.
Combine that with officials that dont have a clue what we do, and focus on the negative vids and pics posted.

I remember sledding in north dore years ago before the access was closed and seeing guys climbing up the ski runs that clearly had no snowmobiling signs at the bottom of the run. We looked at each other and said it will be only a matter of time before this area gets closed.
Ive never even seen a caribou track in there either.

almost looks like arctic tundra... Too bad there wasn't a better picture to verify it's actually taken in the mountains of bc

educate yourselves here people. I love that there is a petition being sent out but really we need people to showup to these information sessions. We need people to bring in hand written letter or signed off ones to those that attend and can send them in. We need people to make contact. some light reading on the Y2Y website, its all there and their the ones pushing it with there private backings.
