Anyone remember this survey that cat sent around last year?

Hopefully it’s true. They definitely need another angle to get guys in the seats again. Don’t get me wrong I loved my Sidewinder, but a 2 stroke would definitely get the crowd buzzing. My sled history shows I’m definitely a Yamaha fan.

It does look like a spitting image of a alpha with a fancy Yamaha wrap....body lines are identical and manufactures typically don’t do full wraps. I’m leaning towards BS. Some dude with a fancy wrap.

I guess hey, look at the seat.

I wonder if they will just use the ctec2 or if they will have their own engine ready.

Does say genesis 2 stroke.....

I sure hope that its a Yamaha designed and built engine. One more 800cc two stroke added to the mix will definitely help push for innovation and competition. If it’s one thing Yamaha can do right, it’s build an engine.

That's what it is a Cat wrapped in Yamaha clothing. There is nothing Yamaha about it. Yep i agree a dude with a fancy wrap getting everyone wild up.

I'm not so sure about that. Yamaha hasn't done any development on their dirtbike 2strokes for like 10 years. We are talking like 2003 era 2stroke technology. A lot has changed, like fuel injection, electronic power valves, counterbalances...
