I wore my new boots for 2 trips x 2 days and the front of the soles are worn through to the bottom layer. I am filling out the warranty paperwork now. Let you know what happens.
How is that even possible?

Ron, I said it before, why are you kicking your boards so much? IMHO, It is a habit. Get over it or pay the price.

Not kicking the running boards, more from jumping from side to side and riding the rails. I ride pretty aggressily, never sit down and always going.

I use to get 3-4 years out of a pair of adrenalines and now riding G4 1 season. It not just the soles but also the outside of the boot up against the tunnel.

I did end up getting my boots resoled in Calgary for $100.00 bucks at Marlborough mall Capital hill shoe, they did a great job have 3 rides on them and no problem, they did put a harder sole on them but traction is not a problem.

I ride agressively, and currently on season 5 with my KLIM adrenaline and soles look great. Get off that G4 and maybe your boots will last

Long story short if you ride aggressively and are jumping from side to side a lot your boots will take a beating.

Is there a place in Edmonton that can replace soles on Klim Boots? I have the pair of last years that I used one weekend and the front of the sole on both boots is destroyed. Klim turned down the warranty. At the show the rep said apply for the warranty, they will replace once. So I like the boot not the soles. Shouldnt have to put urathane caukling on my boots every weekend I ride.

i was with you when rep said they should warranty once for you, especially after only using one weekend. to your face they say one thing but then when it comes down to it they wont do anything. imo the soles are too soft for the newer running boards.

Bought tuff toe from a sportshop that is used on toe of pitching clients. I put on my slim boots that were wore through and rode 6 days and held up fine.

I would sooner replace the complete sole so I’m not having to worry about having wet feet due to holes in the boots. Thanks for the suggestion though. I will find the shoe repair guy around, please post name. Thanks

Brianh- I know but goes to show you that’s it all talk. I have had klim since it was introduced. I have spent lots of dollars with them but not no more. Lost me as a customer now. I had a skidoo jacket and it didn’t last long, a few weekends and it was soaked all the time, they gave me refund, no questions asked.
