So at the risk of sounding dumb here... So I've got a set of "non rebuildable" shocks from an xp chassis that are losing oil, and I know a guy with a bunch of wrecked rebuildable shocks, so after beating around the bush here, can I drill a hole in the bottom of my "non rebuildable" shocks and thread in a charge port from a "rebuildable" shock? Or is there more differences that I obviously don't know about?

that won't work. You need to be able to take them apart.

If there is a valve at the bottom they can be rebuilt
on doo rebuildable shocks the top cover pops off with a screwdriver and there is a snap ring inside
