Do not purchase from allen dale or mission

I recently had a few issue with a purchase of a new mission all sport trailer from allen dale. I made a post october 13 at 10am called warning on mission trailers. Long story short i got royaly screwed and simply want everyone to be aware of the piss poor quality mission/alcom and terrible service allen dale has

i had tried to take the trim off from inside the walls to install matching led lights for inside, several pieces of insulation were missing in the walls. I work out of town and had made arrangement for my dad to take one of his days off to drive 6 hours to deliver my trailer to allen dale in edmonton on september 15 2018. Them telling my it should only take a few days to repair, foolish of me to believe them. Almost a week later before they even looked at it as i was on a plane home to pick it up but as a terrible dealership they were it was not repair in time for my days off.

Allen dale had my trailer from september 15 2018 to october 11 2018. Almost one full month. On october 12, i finally park the trailer so i could got to the edmonton sled show, when inside it and the roof was leaking. Called alcom and allen dale

october 15th, this past monday, was going to bring trailer inside my shop to seal the roof myself and noticed the 3 pieces original missing that were supposed to be repair had not been repaired ????????

They had my trailer for a month and could install 3 sections of insulation

spent all week dealing with the service person for alcom on the piss poor quality they build and was just inform that they will not do anything else to help me out, no extra goodies or nothing, or anything to make up the fact that a BRAND NEW TRAILER FROM FACTORY CAME HAVE BUILD WITH MISSING INSULATION AND A LEAKING ROOF but i need to use my time again to bring it to allen dale to have them repair it again . How can people not stand behind the quality they build.

As far as dropping it off there its just not that simple, i purchased 1300$ of dsw shelf's and had them installed the day i bought it and drove it straight to a spray foam dealer to have the bottom spray foamed and line x for another large cost. i am investeed into this unit, i would have been happy if this was build the way it was supposed to be.

v nose, i was told they could not insulate this due to all the wires in the v nose... So many wire am i right!!


I am also trying to get a hold of a thermal camera to see if there is any insulation in the doors, if you have one to lend out let me know

Are the interior walls metal or wood? I can thermal it but will be difficult to read the thermals, what we look for is anomalies. The unit would need to be heated for a bit then let sit from there you can see where insulation is and not. However if the interior walls are metal then the thermal camera really won’t do anything for you. I can’t lend these out my units are about $2700 to $7000.

You have me extremely worried that mine may have some of the same issues. Scared to look. I picked up a trailer from them a few months ago. Basically same one as you.

It always interests me how poor quality followed by poor service support just doesn't seem to matter to the people delivering that. All you can do is warn others off which, in the case of this forum, will wind up costing the dealer and the manufacturer multiple loss of sales. They would do far better if they just said sorry and gave you a refund on the trailers.

I figure I have cost GO auto about $250,000 in sales over the past five or six years. I still warn people away from their dealerships.

No sense waiting for |Karma to catch up with them when you can help Karma along. Thanks for the heads up. Hope you can get it sorted out.

Have u talked to the owner of Allendale ? Believe he is out of Airdrie but not sure. I talked to the Edmonton store and was pricing out a trailer with them. This is the second trailer I have heard of ordered insulated and delivered
un insulated Brutal. Thanks for sharing.

If they finance.... people will still buy there. Doesn’t matter, no one has cash money anymore so as long as they’re approved....

The owners are out of Red Deer.... always have been. The old man was in prison for years just a bit ago for having sex with 12-13 year old girls when he was a teacher in Red Deer. He would take them out to the horse ranch and do his thing. I for one will not by a f**king thing from them...…. They paid a few off prior to court.... PIG!!!

I would do that for free before he sold me a ****ty trailer, now I would pay to have the the opportunity to do that, what a loser, clearly shows what kind of terrible human he is and doesn't deserve to be on this planet stealing oxygen for the rest of us
