I've been riding sleds since the late 60's so I have seen quite a few dealers/salesmen/service departments and I know what I like. I have also bought a sled from across the street way back in 2002 but that is another story.

Easy does it cowboy......! Didn’t mean to get your panties in a knot. I was merely suggesting to expand your horizons....

Not sure why you would comment of riding since the late 60’s, is that important to this conversation?
Are you suggesting your experience carries more weight than others here....

For the most part I enjoy your posts and usual sense of reasoning, but easy on the Doolaid brother...!

I brought up the '60s to show that my horizons have been expanded and as stated before I am quite happy in the niche that I am in at this point in my life. Why are you so all fired up to get me to expand my horizons? Is it your opinion that you think everyone should follow in your shoes?

Please don't say anything bad about skidoo.

You better believe it!! lol. I have a question for the Cat guys though.... I was helping move a '18 M8000 into the shop and WTF is all that noise coming from the sled when it's in reverse?!! No load ( track in the air) noise is gone. On concrete, it sounds like the chaincase is filled with crushed rocks? Used sled with 900 kms on it. Co worker now thinks he has to spend money on it!! Haven't had a closer look at it yet. Machine looks mint though.

Is that what there using now? Instead of Chaincase oil? Just looking for some real advice as my time is quite valuable since I'll be the guy having to work on it. The owner as nice as he is.... doesn't know the track from the skis.

Now I see why you’re so loyal...🙄. What happened to the boys that moved Mr R to Lethbridge? Snopro’s golden tougne didn’t work there..... even some of his oldest loyal customers have fled his side. Why?

you should walk across the street to Mountain Toys... I’m not even a Poo guy, but I’ve heard they’re decent guys. Is Scott still there running the show?
Mr. R's Lethbridge was a new dealer in 2010 with no previous spring snowcheck we sold 27 units. In 2013 we sold 135 sleds which is unprecedented for Lethbridge which has always been a 50 unit town for years. Who knows where we would have ended up in 2014 with 96 snowchecks in the bag but the Tanner boys got tired of swimming upstream with BRP 's outrageous demands on a building and a rep that was an azzhat. Now at Bowridge I'm selling as many sleds working 1-2 days a week through the winter as the rest of the sales staff who is there full time. The golden tongue is just fine thankyou. Not everyone followed me but a ****load did.

I have had cat m 800 mega miles on two different sleds NO issues I had a 2014 xm some troubles but Bow cycle were great and fixed it [who would have thought that] my 174 xm t3 was the best sled ever . The point is every one has there issues with each and every manufacture including Ford GM ect . Do a better job your rescarch boys let them work the bugs out and then buy . If everyone did this they may do a better job on the first attempt.

Too many people are willing to tote the line of “who cares that’s what warranty is for”. Honestly I don’t want to lose time riding or be stuck with a lemon of a modern first year problem sled or if you ride a G4 and first and second year or basically any Polaris from 09-13 that is grossly under valued when used because of the history of problems some of those sleds have.

Many times it’s an ego thing to be on the latest and greatest. Have to show off to your buddy next door and so on. At the end of the day it’s their money and they can do what they wish and I am glad there are guys willing to be guinea pigs.

No one hopes a new sled has problems and Polaris has done their best with a 4 year warranty to remove concerns for many people. Just like I wouldnt buy a truck with the newest and greatest motor, I won’t buy a sled with it either. But that’s my decision.
