Why did you get it taken out? Just wondering becuse I still have one in my femur.
Considered me high risk.

I guess if you rebreak it with the pin in its not good.

That and my leg was always cold as f.
Could feel the pin vibrate when I would stop on ice skates.

Other than that it was great. Lol

Yeah that's what I was a afraid of. Probably not good to breat it again with that rod in there. Never really thought about it before. That thing looks hardcore....

It's really not a huge deal to get it taken out, if you wanted to get it done.

Mine felt way better shortly after plate was removed .

All the latest technology in bone repair yet still looks like it was invented in the caveman days. Lol. Just screw the bone back together!
It was literally a DeWalt drill. That put those screws in. And a slide hammer to install the pin down the center of the bone.

Well the porters dropped me off the stretcher just as we were getting into the surgery studio. Last thing I remember is the anesthetist putting a mask over my face as I payed on the floor.

The amazing part is I broke my leg in the middle of pierce lake in Saskatchewan.

And I never died getting to shore.
Or between there and the u of a.

So pretty much this is all bonus time for me.

Ya, that femur hardware is wicked !
My problem is loading sleds in the short ass front door of a Featherlight / Bilbo Baggins / Hobbit trailer.
