New results at dynotech this year already
New Polaris Patriot 850 174.2 hp
Ski doo Rotax E-Tech 850 168.7 hp
Polaris Liberty 800HO 155.7 hp
Arctic Cat C-tech2 800 152.4 hp

I am surprised that Cat is lower than the Polaris 800. I heard it before but they do feel stronger.

18.5 hp jump between the 800 and 850 for Polaris is impressive! Not bad at all for just an extra 50 cc in motor size, recognizing it is an all new engine. If all goes well it should be a great year for the guys on the new Patriots... Might just have company at the top now ha, ha!

I raced 2 C-tech2's last year and got clobbered pretty good by both on my 850doo.
22hp power spread to he Poo is huge.

Textron will need to build an 850!

Efficiency is a interesting thing, getting the power to the ground instead of building heat.

The 850poo has 6g more flyweight over the 800, and thats the only clutching change over the setup. According to the poo ambassadors.

They are looking to be definatly down in the numbers game.
Somehow two different Ascenders cleaned my 850 doo last year.
Maybe it is all in the Cat clutching as doo has none.
Have to see how they compare away from the keyboard and on the snow.

Beats me.
And maybe a Textron/Cat850 for 2020??

Remember that time Dynotech dyno'ed the etec 800 at 160+ HP.

I even saw it in the doo literature when I bought my last 800 etec.

Maybe CAT didn't pay their dyno tech fees?

I thought the 2019 cats had a different engine calibration than the 2018's.......
