Maybe there's legit reasons, but I found it odd that they shut down shop in Cold Lake. I run a business, and I sure as hell wouldn't pack up shop if one of my offices burned down. Just seems fishy to me.

Yup, what’s fishy is the shop in cold lake closed before the fire it was pretty quiet, Pricing was high but it was handy to have a dealer in town with a parts person that was knowledgeable.
now a guy has to pound the suspension outta his truck to go to meadow lake but they are awesome to deal with.

have you been to meadow in the last 5 years? Road is fine new pavement for most of it, and yes Renegade is the best dealership!!! Power merchants never could compete with them for price or service.

By an hour from Bonnyville, or hour and a half from cold lake. Lloyd is just as far as meadow lake though, and then you can hit up princess auto too.

Meadow lake is only 130km from cold Lake Vs Lloyd 175km, and Edmonton is 300+. I live in cold lake and meadow is the place to go.

only problem going to Lloyd or Edmonton is u will pay more lol!!! I can’t say enough good things about renegade in meadow they really are an amazing small town friendly low pressure dealership with service unsurpassed by anywhere else I have been.

Yess very regularly, and yes to the goodsoil corner it’s great, then turns to ****
Yup renegade has treated me great so far, merchants prices on units were out to
lunch compared to meadow, but it was handy to get parts in town.

there is good newer pavement still going east of goodsoil for 15km or so then the way rapid view is a bit choppy but I definitely wouldn’t say it’s s***. From rapid view to meadow is good. I don’t think it’s any worse then hwy 55 going west of cold lake. I drive it twice a month and until I have to slow down I won’t call it ruff guess I still have flashbacks of the construction lol.

Wow, that's a shocker. Guy files bankrupcy, and then two of his buildings catch fire the same night. Shocker

One has to assume that a stay in the old crowbar hotel follows this eh.

A failing dealership and bankruptcy are both crappy things to deal with along with losing your shirt in the process, but I'd personally take all of those and start over before going to jail for literally burning your own businesses to the ground. Just my humble opinion...

No surprise here at all, no brainer it was arson. After 40 plus years and being top dealer in Canada for many years you don't go bankrupt, all setup for.
