I don't think there was an attachment to my first post. I don't know anything about the incident and sincerely wish them the best. If anyone read any more into what I said they are mistaken.

I believe eve they were referring to post #7 I do not feel that anyone was trying to attack you by any means, just the typical text confusion.

That's what I thought too.

I still don't understand how someone else spreading info/rumors about the fire on day it happens lead to the closure of both shops.

Like I said, I must have missed something.

No allegations are it was burned by the owner in part of a disputed divorce, further it is rumoured that there are several video of it and all the mechanics took boxes were pulled outside prior to the fire.

That's got to be one messy divorce that you would light up your own dealership.

not sure what happened, just like previously mentioned, its a ****ty deal , Jerry did a lot for the industry for many years and that should be always remembered. There are lots of rumours and we all know that rumours are not facts.... I wish Jerry a positive ending to this situation, this is not an easy business for sure, but lets not jump to conclusions on things we don't know for a fact... positive thoughts for Jerry at this time...

Yeah let the proper authorities investigate. I don't think we need the super slueuths of snow and mud coming up with their own "theories".

It does sound a little greasy to me. Blaming completely shutting down because of some misinformation that was spread on the day of the fire? Doesn’t make sense to me. A solid business with a good customer base and insurance might have a temporary closure at best till insurance paid out.

Sounds to me more like someone was taking this opportunity as a way to an out. Which is their choice but blaming it on rumours seems fishy is all I’m saying.

I have a theory that cops keep their investigations secret, even after the fact, even from the victims, to mask their ineffectiveness.
