Here is some pics of the bench.. I went between 3 steel rails, made it 32" wide.. cut the plywood that wide, I drilled tapped into the door rails and put small amount of thread locker on the bolts, 3 of them on each "arm"... they hold me up no problem and I'm 205lbs, you have to counter sink holes to fit over the bolts in the plywood... I probably will add a couple 1/4 inch self tapping screws on the upper sections, but it is solid.. it has small clips that lock it in the up position as well...

For the price of a folding seat $350 /more.. this cost $30 (on sale at princess auto right now) and 20 worth of plywood.. and the bolts I already had.

I will get the plywood painted and put a cushion on it (they have alot on sale now from summer patio set sales), for the wife, ;)

how are you going to fold that when there is a cushion on it.
It will be a 1" thick cushion and will go between the mounting rails.. so there will he 3/4" of plywood at edges still

I'll have done this weekend I'll post pics..

So I got some more done, got a really good deal on a set of Alloy wheels and rims, (now I have 4 steel jobbies with tires for sale cheap!), doubled up on some traction grid, got some clasps for hanging the front superclamps (I will get caribeaners on them to click on. Now just need to get the sleds in, mount the rear superclamps

I want to spray foam the channel where the drains are as well, and route drainage tubes out and away so no ice buildup happens.

I got the inverter in and mounted, works great, and will be good for any 110v required electronics..

Propane tanks installed and cover put on as well.....

I did not get the seat foam put on, but I will try tomorrow depending on the weather.

I'd like to get $175 for all 4. They have around 60% left or more, no leaks. The rims are grey with a bit of rust. But they would work for a few more years for sure.

PM me if you want more info.
How much for your old wheels and tires?

Looking good. What are you using batteries and charge system/power source for the inverter?

I have a marine heavy duty battery.. and a 3000watt inverter, I will do a solar panel for the battery, 100watt... hopefully it will be enough..

Not sure as I've never had this out yet.

Got some more done last weekend, put sleds in and put superclamps in front and rear.
Everything fits nice, need to install a few more hangers on the roof for gloves and such.
Inverter is up and running, just looking for a kurig to put in.. put the baofung radio charges on, double sided tape to secure them down to bench..

I have purchased a zephyr polishing kit so will ne polishing the external aluminum a.d stainless steel.. we will see how that goes, but with the new rims the old looking checker plate needs a refresh..

Pics to come..
