Snowcoach -- Anyone used one?

Found a used Snowcoach on the ol' Kijiji today, wondering if anyone has used them for taking their kids out snowmobiling and if so what your feedback is on them?

Obviously not great for super back country riding but would be good for getting them out on the trails with us.

What ages did you use yours for?

I had one , they are a bit rough when hitting bumps, mine was convertible style so you could loose a kid if going too fast lol, also open ones are like riding in a blizzard.. just prepare too make slow trips

We had one of those for about 4 years. We found it easier to tow with the older sleds that were lower to the ground. (Indy lites, edge rmks, etc) Buy a sturdy hitch that is mated to a sturdier bumper. The factory bumpers will eventually bend or break. If you are always on smooth groomed trails - stock bumpers will probably work. Powdery and light fluffy snow will seep thru the windows and doors eventually. Windows will also fog up with 2-3 kids in there. Surprisingly lots of room. You can throw extra blankets, clothes, snacks and a small cooler on the floor and around the kids. The family enjoyed it overall.

We used one that we borrowed one winter for a family sled trip. My son and his two cousins all fit in the coach. If I remember correctly there was a seat belt that we could fasten over t he 3 of them to keep them from moving around too much. It worked great and the boys loved it! If you leave the rear vents open snow will whip around inside the coach and possibly down the back of their jackets. They still loved it though! I saw a couple on The Kijiji as well. A guy at work and his wife are expecting and considering one in the future as well. They seem to hold their value pretty good so I think it would be worth it until the kids get older then it should be easy to sell.

I always thought for the adult adrenaline junkie tied behind a turbo for the thrill seeking midway ride. But seriously on a warm spring day they would be great to get the young ones out.

Tow one behind the 900 Doo at the farm. Niece's kids love the thing.
Can talk to kids when side door open.
Rough but nothing pillow doesn't fix!

Awesome to get kids out, niece or my daughter ride in there with the kids.
Worth every penny!
