So at the beginning of the season we were having issues with snow and water ingestion with our Cats.
So after a couple of different attempts in resolving the issue this is what i came up with.
I have had zero issue's with water or snow ingestion since and it has been well tested.
The cost $20 and about an hours work.
I used bulk prefilter material. It is installed in the nose cone acting like a barrier between the throttle bodies and the air intake. It has proven to give 100% protection as water can be found at times in the nose cone but never at the throttle bodies.

I have a 2013 Sno Pro and just had ice go in and take out my reeds. I will be doing this to my sled soon. Thank you.

Your lucky
In January we had an 18 take a big gulp and it took out the reeds and piston skirts.
This simple modification can be done on any 2012-18 models. I highly recommend it.

Not Sure
How many belts can you buy for $20 ? [emoji4moji41]
Haven't needed a new belt all season but have towed a cat off several times. Go figure, the sizzling hot wobble clutch and the belt just keeps on going.

That new kitty wrecked another day yesterday. Going to light it on fire next time and carry the remains off in a backpack.

I have only towed 1 sled ever, and it was a cat. Lol

Only took 11 posts to turn into a Cat bashing thread. That must be a record.
