sledding areas west of rocky or Brazeau or cadomin or grand cache ?

never been sledding in the western foothills / hills of alberta

might be the time to do it now ? Heard west of rocky got snow last night

Im looking to go out sunday , any reccomendations good areas , where has snow ect ?

Was out at Lovett Staging area by Robb and while the snow was about a meter deep, the top 50cm was quite dense and wet like snowman snow. Every hard turn in the muskeg meadows had the sled packing in with snow and then spinning out in the sugar base below. It was around freezing temp and while there was fresh 6-8 inches of snow, the area probably got rain too.
