As we have so much snow left and colder weather coming, Tri-Countycontacted Alberta Environment and Sustainable Resources Department (AESRD) andrequested an extension to keep Ministik open longer. We explained the trailshave never been better, there is a constant snow base on the trails and still12” to 18” of powder snow back in the trees and lake shores and was groomed onSaturday February 24. So, they have grantedan extension until Monday March 5 atwhich point they will close thegates to Ministik.
So Ministik will be open this weekend March 3 & 4
Also we groomed Ministik North last Saturday, and the trails are in awesomecondition and with 20m of new snow coming Friday and Saturday it will be afantastic weekend
