Would like to know the weight. If it’s under 500 lbs there is potential. The 80 hp phaser they had boosted to 150 hp. So this should be easy to get to 200 hp. Get Lund to clutch it to get 60 mph track speed.

The boosted phaser was a turd. I doubt they will put a 3" track on it.

While it may not be what you guys are looking for, 150Hp is a great Midwest to Eastern Market number IMO. The 900 ACE is fairly different from the regular 900 ACE in the crank, rods, main bearings, injectors, etc are all different from the regular 900 ACE. This one will push 12lbs. New turbo is going to require a new exhaust manifold and will take some time for the aftermarket to figure out. Intake tract is pretty short, very similar in length to the SW. I really believe the market this is intended for it will sell like hot cakes. Weight wide, it will be no different than a stock 1200 w/o boost. Standard 900 ACE motor is 26lbs lighter than a 1200 block @ 103lbs. I would guess this one gained the 26lbs back with the new plumbing. Be interested to see how it mounts as tucking it tight to the machines C of G like the 850 will probably make that weight pretty well hidden. I'd be very excited to throw a leg over this one for riding here on the prairies!

Not only that, if it was a mountain sled, 150hp at altitude is pretty good, since 2 strokes naturally aspirated lose hp at altitude. I'm sure tuners will get this up over 200hp quite easily :)

I am gonna go out on a limb and say the stock turbo is gonna be the limiting factor as the guys on doo talk are saying g this thing is making 13 lbs already. Gonna need aleast another 4-5 psi to make 200 HP and I don't know if you will get that much extra flow out of the factory turbo especially at elevation.

If they turboed that new 600cc and it made 150HP at 10,000ft that would be mint.

But this 4stroke is 100lbs heavier with similar power to an 850 at 6500ft.

I think there is defiantly a large market for these 4 stroke trail sleds especially the guys that put 20,000km on them out east but I don't understand throwing 50less hp than competition. No matter what the doo faithful think you shouldn't need a clutch kit on a stock sled to get belt life the guys that ride hard were defiantly going through more belts than average and it pisses people off. I personally think the 850 chassis is awesome and would love to own one but I'm not taking the chance. If I'm buying a stock 800 today is the Polaris or cat both have ups and downs if you want turn key turbo buy a sidewinder.

Is that why sales are dropping off Ken.. Not listening to there customers!!
Aside from the embarrassing reliability issues with the G4 I think they do a pretty good job of listening to their customers. Most of the stuff you want would price the sled out of the market for the bulk of buyers. Hence the aftermarket.

I think if they had a better rear skid and made the belt issue disappear everyone would be on these 850's
