Long story short I have a 3/16" hole/puncture to my tunnel and more specifically right along the edge where the cooling runs through. To get it off the mountain last weekend we used JB weld to patch it temporarily but am now looking for a permanent fix. I have talked to a couple guys I know who have decent welding skills but they recommend I find someone who is very good with a tig welder to ensure that the aluminum does not get heated up to much and make a bigger hole or end up with excess slag inside the hole (this would restrict coolant flow) If anyone on here does or knows someone who would be willing to take a look let me know and I can send you a couple photos and arrange to meet up. Thanks.

I can weld that up for you! Send me some pictures so I can see where it’s at and what needs to be done to fix it.

And that is how it is supposed to be done. More time visiting and enjoying a beverage than doing repairs. A good welder/mechanic/carpenter will produce that result :)

Huge thanks to Neilsledder for welding this up for me last night just in time for the weekend. We bs'ed about sledding longer than it took to fix lol
