Buying Propane?

Anyone know the current price of propane at Costco in Edmonton with all taxes? I just filled up 2 20 pounds and 1 30 at mutual and total cost was $50. Just seeing if the drive to st albert is worth the savings in the future. Thanks

I did a 20 pounder 2 weeks ago it was $10

Grande Prairie Costco was $0.62 per liter last time I was there. Propane is about 1.1 lb per liter, a 20lb tank holds 18 liters, so it would cost $11.16 to fill a 20lb propane tank from empty at that price.

most propane is sold with all the road taxes added on? Costco is the only one i have found that doesn't.

In Fernie we charge $22 for 20LB. Typically when a customer starts the conversation with "I can get it for $12 at Costco" I return the tank to them and say " If I was you I would go now and get it filled there" they don't say it a second time to me. All the local customers love the fact that we have propane which means they don't bitch or whine about the price. I have seen the incoming bills from our supplier and hard to believe but the cost of the propane is cheap BUT all the taxes and delivery charges kill us. When the motorhomes come in we charge a buck a pound.

I filled a 30lber for $13.45 all in , a week and a half ago at Costco in Balzac.
James river store charges $23 for a 20 and $34 for a 30.

anywhere Costco sells propane,seems other propane sellers are disappearing, from what i have seen. usually the small mom pop places sell a few tank fulls , where as costco sells lots in an hour.
