Haven't tried it on a sled but I did the underside of my deck on my lawn mower. Kept the grass from building up for most of the season. Not cheap. The product I used was Neverwet and it tends to go on cloudy. Cool result from using the product though.

I think rustoleum has a similar product. I seen it at Canadian tire.

Wonder what it would do on the under side of a boat? Would it increase speed?

Tried a few different hydrophobic products, never wet works very well when fresh. But leaves a little white haze over top of the application area.

Rainex also works for hard products, painful to apply but doesn’t work as well at neverwet.

Recently picked up another one in a winded type trigger spray bottle and haven’t had a chance to use it.

Dont do it. I did it to a sled a few years back and it leaves a real white hazey finish. Doesnt work that well for snow and wears off really fast.

I used that coating a few years back on the rev running boards and tunnel, never worked all that good. Then I found the left over can of it and got the bright idea to coat the bag that attaches to the XM so it would repel water. Now the tunnel bag is all grey, white and blotchy looking, I think it did do some good though. I bet you sprayed those shirts with that stuff they would not look like that.

I think I will try some ArmorAll. Would be easy to apply, don't see how it could hurt.

So it snowed a couple of inches overnight, started shoveling, a bit sticky on the plastic shovel, tried STP Son of a gun, (similar to Armorall),
seemed to work very well, anxious to try it on the sled.
