I would need to say Valemount area. Amazing alpine riding and tons of tree riding. always seems to be an immaculate trail up (props to the groomers). really nice big warm up cabins with bbq's. The VARDA crew do an amazing job making sure you know what your going into before you leave your house with weather and avy conditions. 11/10 from myself for Valemount.

I know there is a place named Valemount in British Columbia. Is there one in Alberta as well?

Pretty sure the best mountain riding in Alberta is Cataract Creek just outside Calgary! I love how I can go on the trails and every now and then dive off into the 12 inches of pow! Sometimes I even lift one ski up and get a full on knee shot of fresh... Absolutely stupid how we have to go to BC for decent riding. Thanks Provincial Govt! Actually since its also about 15 to 20C warmer in BC maybe its worth the drive after all...
