Re: 2019 release dates ??

Nope not for a poo engine. That's what they spin to, interesting isnt it.

It is interesting but not realistic. Polaris doesn't have a good track record with bigger bores not to say they can't improve. In order to achieve these numbers their CC to HP efficiency would have to improve dramatically. Currently there are at 5.1 to hit the numbers on the dyno sheet they need to be 4.8. It may not seem like much but it is, all while staying compliant. Just to compare Cat and Doo are at the 5.1 also, depending on the hp numbers used.

Re: 2019 release dates ??

So the Amsnow mag Dynoed the trail sleds and the Axys came out with more power than the Cat. Also when you spin the AXYS too fast (above 8300) I believe it develops an appetite for eating reed valves. Anyone else see these high reving engines destroying reeds? And before the Doo guys start gloating about the 850 power, you need to be reminded that many new Cats easily out pull the G4's.

Yeah looks legit. The Doo feels like it has more power than the other 2.

2017 zr 800 had the Suzuki engine.

Here is the dyno chart for the 2018 vs the 2017.

The 18 cats are very strong engines I would be surprised if cat didn't throw a 174 on those sleds.

So looking like no factory turbo 2 stroke out of textron for 19. Shocked. Just a purple monorail abortion and flex track 2.0 gimmick..

Maybe Polaris will have a more exciting release.

Pretty cool idea with the monorail suspension. I’m looking forward to seeing it in person and hopefully getting to ride one at some point. But that purple... anybody that had a mid 90s arctic cat will recognize it. Hopefully cat will offer some other colours. Kinda like Doo did with the initial T3 release after everyone bitched about the yellow only option.
