    Everything BaoFeng & VHF Radios

Hey just thought it was high time we started a thread to discuss everything VHF radio.

Questions about what to buy, how to program it, what works and what doesn't.

I believe 8 Watt VHF Radios don't have to be a big investment, but I do think all riders should have them.
I will be making a spreadsheet and file for people to use when programming their radios.
It will have VHF channels for sledding, a snow and mud emergency channel for everyone to monitor as their second frequency, all the resource roads, bca channels, FRS, GMRS, trucker channels and a few others.

Here is the link to the radio images.

This is the main program for programming a wide variety of amateur handheld radios.

    Download it and play around.

There is a really good tutorial and it is very straight forward.

A good source for a couple different 8 Watt Boefengs and authentic Nagoya antennas.
A little bit in the pricey side but the company resides in the USA and keeps stock.

Shipping on a handheld is usually $14 USD.

A good source for a couple 8W Boefengs.
My favorite is the UV-3TP with the 3800mah battery.

I'll expand on this a little bit later.

Free shipping directly from China via Canada Post.

Not selling anything, just helping some guys out. Go away if you don't have anything positive to add.
